SOCIAL MEDIA & COPYWRITER INTERN

As the Social Media & Copywriter Intern, you will write original copy and content across different formats (web, video, social media, advertising) to drive growth. The most successful Social Media & Copywriter Intern will be a quick learner with creative ideas and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

70% Copywriting

 

  • Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing materials, including website, social media, video, and online advertising

 

  • Research and understand our target audience's needs and interests

 

  • Collaborate with the team from concept development to delivery of the final product

 

  • Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team

 

  • Revise copy based on internal feedback and direction

 

  • Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice, and terminology

 

 

30% Social Media Management

 

  • Assist the Content Marketing Manager in creating and publishing social media content

 

  • Create actionable plans to grow and maintain followers on jsocial media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter)

 

  • Collaborate with THNK's Multimedia Producer to create original social media content

 

 

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of audience-related industry trends

 

  • Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging

 

 

Skills & qualifications:

 

  • Exceptional writing skills

  • Passionate about (copy)writing

 

  • Social media and tech-savvy

 

  • Native or near-native English speaker

 

  • Looking to build a career in copywriting and/or social media management

 

  • A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design

 

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

 

  • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking abilities

 

  • Copywriting experience a plus

 

  • Social media or content marketing experience a plus
